The Totem Poles were carved by locals from the Sepik Area, painted with normal house paint by troops stationed at the camp

On Parade – 1 Indep. Const. Tp with PIR detachment in the rear. The Japanese field gun in foreground was donated by Emil Glaus, a local German Salvage businessman.
