JULY 26 – ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING and LUNCH

You are invited with your wife to attend our informal Lunch and AGM on Sunday 26 July.

Venue: Geebung RSL Club, 323 Newman Road, Geebung, Brisbane
Dress: Casual
Time: Lunch is at 12 noon in the Club Bistro, up the escalator
Table: we have reserved a Table for “PIB-PIR”
AGM: in the downstairs Board Room, after Lunch, approx. 1.30pm
Anniversary Cake to share (celebrating the 75th anniversary of National Service)

AUGUST 8 – KOKODA DAY COMMEMORATION, Broadbeach QLD

On 8 August we gather at Cascade Gardens, Broadbeach, for a solemn Service remembering the vital battles and the ending of the War. After paying our respect to the casualties of that War, we looked at the new small Pavers laid behind the Memorial in honour of family members.
This is a national event, one of the highlights of our year.

NOVEMBER 11 – REMEMBRANCE DAY SERVICE and Lunch

Remembrance Day is an important national occasion marking the anniversary of the ceasefire of the First World War, and a time to honour those who have served, died or suffered in wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations.
